Absolutely! Prior to any first booking a "Meet & Greet" will be scheduled at your residence. Meet & Greet appointments are required because they allow the pet sitter to meet their furry friends before entering their homes for the first scheduled visit. We don't want to think of what could happen if a sitter entered a home for the first time without previously meeting the resident pets. Yikes!

While Shawn would absolutely love to have a house full of furry pawed friends running around, regretfully she doesn't have the proper facilities to offer pet boarding services. All pet sitter services will be conducted at the pet owner's residence.

Most certainly! Every time Shawn takes a dog on a walk she will pick up your dog's droppings and dispose of them properly. If she's providing overnight sitting services, she'll make sure to keep the yard tidy.
You just need to provide an adequate supply of poop bags and she'll do all the heavy lifting ;)

Definitely! Once a Drop-In or Dog Walking visit has been completed, Shawn will text you with a brief account of her visit. During extended Overnight Stays you'll receive daily updates. Don't fret, you're guaranteed to receive ample
photos and/or videos!

More pets means more work and more attention required by the pet sitter. So yes, we do charge a nominal extra fee for additional furry paws. Simply drop us a line, let us know your location and number of pets and we'll confirm rates based upon the total number of pets in your household.

Zelle is our preferred method of payment. Most US banking institutions have the Zelle cash app embedded into their apps and websites. If you haven't already registered with Zelle, signing up is easy. Just go your banking app or website and search for Zelle. If you can't locate Zelle through your bank, you can always download the Zelle app

Furry Paws requires all bookings to be paid in-full before every pet sitter visit.
All overnight bookings require a 50% deposit, due at time of booking.
The remaining balance will be billed one week prior to booking start date.
Deposits are non-refundable, however your deposit will be rolled over and credited toward your next booking.

What happens if there's a pet emergency?
To ensure the safety of your pets, you'll need to provide Shawn with the contact info of your vet and ensure that you have a current credit card on file with their office in the event that she needs to authorize emergency medical treatment if you cannot be reached. Regretfully, Shawn/Furry Paws cannot pay for any medical treatments in your absence.
